Spoken everyday lists and voice snippets
Ask Nimva for the lists people use every day, or say a saved cue to paste a full block. Wake and “take notes” chatter is dropped on this Mac.
- Grocery and shopping lists expand into separate bullets.
- To-do, checklist, and chores become checkboxes (
- [ ]). - Packing, errands, ingredients, wishlist, agenda, and questions get clear headings.
- Voice snippets in Dictionary: say the cue alone (or “insert …”) to paste a multi-line block.
- Voice Memo in Notes: one-tap long capture, speakers mute while listening, auto-title from what you say.
- Styles by app: a local map on this Mac so Mail, Slack, and others keep the tone you choose — not cloud style memory.
- Meta lines like “Nimva is listening” and “please take notes” no longer land in the note.
Proudly Canadian stamp and quieter CAD checkout
Canadian Macs keep CAD checkout while the in-app and site pride mark stay Canada-only. International USD stays in the header chrome. This is the build currently on the live Sparkle feed until 0.3.10 publishes.
- Unified Proudly Canadian stamp in the Mac app and on ca.nimva.app.
- CAD price resolution hardened for Canadian Macs.
- Quieter currency chrome so USD remains available without crowding CAD.
Branded auth confirm and Account password UX
Auth email links route through nimva.app, Account email/password flows are clearer, and Option push-to-talk is fixed. This is the build currently on the live Sparkle feed until 0.3.9 publishes.
Trial lock, Dictionary refresh, and Features proofs
When the free trial ends, system dictation locks immediately. Preview can still run on Home, but copy, save, export, and “Make it sendable” stay off until a plan unlocks dictation.
- Shortcut and menu no longer start Listening into other apps after trial expiry.
- Dictionary uses a card grid with New word, filters, and multi-select delete.
- Marketing Features page ships real product proofs on nimva.app/features.
- Insights in the app, Release notes on the site, and a clearer PRO / TRIAL / TRIAL ENDED badge.
Automatic language naming and written-language choice
Automatic detection names the spoken language. English remains the default written language, and you can change that in the app.
- Clearer Home language controls for spoken vs written language.
- Formatting follows the app that was actually in front when you dictated.
Local smart dictation without waiting on rewrite
Cleanup and sendable formatting run on this Mac. Optional rewrite with your own key stays off until you turn it on.
- Make it sendable styles for email, message, notes, work, and prompt.
- Voice stays local for recognition; rewrite only sends transcript text when you ask.
Hindi decoding recovery and Hinglish fixes
Stronger handling for Hindi and mixed Hinglish takes, with clearer recovery when a recording is interrupted.
Ops Console desks and billing retention
Billing and account surfaces stay aligned with Stripe while dictation remains local-first on the Mac.
Soft-launch signing, legal, and dictation reliability
Developer ID packaging, legal pages, and insertion reliability for the soft launch channel.
